The draw for the Handicap Cup took place at the Committee meeting on the 29th of November. Please check out who you will be playing HERE. Welcome to a new season of Table Tennis. Many thanks to you all for your contribution to the smooth running of the league last season.
We have a new match and press Secretary, Stuart Park, so if you use any score cards from previous seasons please make sure you change the address, before you post it. Please could you make sure that match cards are sent to Stuart within 24 hours of games being played and, if a postponement is necessary, please notify him before the match is due to be played.
Stuart Angell is the new head of the Tournaments committee, and is introducing some new ideas, one of which is a Division One Singles competition, which we are calling the Gary Gray Division One Singles Trophy, in memory of Gary who died earlier this year.
Again a big thank you to Dot Macfarlane, for her commitment to preparing and printing this and previous Handbooks.
We say goodbye to Rod Fry, Steve Ible and Les Whittaker long serving members of the committee, how shall we manage without them.
Please make a note in your diaries for the presentation evening on 19th of May 2012, and for the AGM on 23rd of May 2012, both at Child Okeford Village Hall
In regard to the coming season, you will see from the Handbook we have allowed free weeks for the tournaments, and the team handicap. The tournament dates and details will be circulated later.

The ETTA have recently advised the League that those members who signed up through their local league ( BVTTL ) will now shortly be recieving their Individual Membership Cards and Numbers through the post ( about time ! )
This will enable all players who registered with the ETTA for 2010-2011 season to renew their membership after the ETTA AGM after July 10th 2011 for the new season 2011-2012.
Players will be able to renew their membership with the ETTA either 1) online via the ETTA web site, 2) contact the ETTA on 0845 0500 388
The ETTA have suggested that all members should renew their membership by 14th November, but the committee would like all players to have renewed their membership before the BVTTL registration forms are returned to the League Registration Secretary.
